Announcement from Chief Advertising Officer Johanna Mayer-Jones on the addition of Jana Meron to The Washington Post as its new vice president of Revenue Operations & Data:

Good morning,

I'm thrilled to welcome Jana Meron to our team. Jana is an award-winning media leader with an incredible track record of creating programmatic and sales strategies that increase revenue and future-proof media organizations as the landscape changes.

Over the last year, Jana has helped digital media companies improve their monetization strategies and tech stacks. Prior to that, Jana was the SVP of Programmatic & Data Strategy for Insider Inc., where, over the course of 8+ years, she launched their multi-million-dollar programmatic business and developed their industry-leading first-party data.

Jana's expertise has been widely recognized in the industry. She was acknowledged by AdAge as one of the top 12 ad-tech executives addressing the challenges posed by the death of the cookie. In addition, she was honored as a 2022 Top Women in Media for her exceptional storytelling skills in programmatic advertising. Her career began at Google, where she was among the pioneering sellers of AdSense.

In this newly created role, Amelia Simpson, Josh Peters, Laura Riedel, and their teams will report to Jana.

Please join me in welcoming Jana to the team.
